Comments
When you leave comments on the site, it automatically collects the data shown in the comments form, and also your public IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. If you have provided a profile picture to Gravatar, it will appear publicly next to your comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on the site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit the login page, it will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
If you play a game (such as Run, Run 2, or Run 3), it will create one or more save files on your computer. The format and location of these files depends on the game, your computer, and (if applicable) what Flash emulator you are using. These files persist indefinitely, though they may be cleared if you tell your browser to delete site data. These files are not uploaded to the cloud, though in the future you may be able to opt-in to uploading them.
Important: this privacy policy only applies to content on player03.com. If you play one of my games on another website, that site’s privacy policy applies to that instance of the game.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.
Who I share your data with
I don’t share your data with outside parties, except to comply with legal requirements and except as described above. As of January 2026, I have not received a legal warrant or subpoena that would require me to disclose a user’s private data.
In the future, I may add new features to my games that require a third party to process your data. If and when I do, I’ll make reasonable efforts not to share such data until I get consent from the user; that is, such features would be opt-in.
How long I retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so my anti-spam software can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
What rights you have over your data
If you have entered personal information on this site (by leaving a comment or by any method that becomes available in the future), you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data I hold about you. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I am obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service. The service complies with the GDPR and does not store your data.
